• Cursor-follow effect

  Something on the page reacts to where your mouse is: a circle, a glow or a picture follows the pointer.

• Easing

  How an animation speeds up and slows down over its duration.

• Fade-up entrance

  Content rises a short distance while it fades in.

• Hover lift

  A card rises a few pixels and its shadow grows when you point at it, as if it lifts off the page.

• Marquee

  A row of items that slides sideways on its own, forever.

• Number roll

  When a number changes, each digit slides up like a wheel to the new value, like a car's mileage counter.

• Pop in

  Something appears by growing from small to full size while it fades in.

• Spring

  Motion that goes a little past its target and settles back, like something on a spring.

• Stagger

  Several items animate one after another with a small delay between each, instead of all at once.
